Squalene an oil naturally occurring in human skin, is an important part of the lipid system. Its penetration capacity is remarkably high. Nanometre droplets of squalene function as effective ?transporters? for the A Vitamins and other oil soluble active ingredients. Young and healthy skin contains a high amount of squalene but the level will decrease dramatically with age. Therefore squalene is absorbed excellently into sun damaged and aged skin. Its penetration capacity is remarkably high. A lack of squalene within the skin can lead to premature ageing, very dry skin and a loss of elasticity.
Glycerin ? is one of the best and most widely used humectants (moisturiser). It penetrates easily into the epidermis and makes the skin soft and supple. Suitable even for sensitive skin types and provides lubrication, leaving the skin soft and smooth.
Lanolin (Purified Pharmaceutical Quality) plays an important role in maintaining the skin?s moisture balance and provides a remarkable textured skin surface, especially when used in combination with squalene. Previous problems with lanolin allergies are minimised with this product, due to its pharmaceutical purity where all the allergenic impurities have been removed.
Hydrolyzed Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid ? a mixture of two ingredients that together build an invisible moisture binding barrier on the surface of the
skin, to enable it to maintain its elevated level of moisture within the epidermis.
Tocopherol and Tocopherol Acetate are sources of Vitamin E that play an important role of protecting the skin against harmful free radicals and function as a natural moisturiser an
- Heltps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Retinyl Palmitate is a particularly stable forms of Vitamin A that have a remarkable efficient rejuvenating action in the skin. Encapsulated in nanometer size droplets of squalene, the Vitamin A can penetrate deep into the skin in sufficient amounts to stimulate the type of cells that synthesise lost collagen fibre structures providing a younger skin. Sun damaged and aged skin is repaired and rebuilt, wrinkles and fine line diminish and the complete structure of the skin is significantly rejuvenated.
